  • Mikka Bonel is the founder of Birthing Yoga and Holistic Healing. She has over 1,000 hours of training in yoga, bodywork and birth-work. Mikka is a prenatal and postnatal educator, yoga instructor, bodyworker, 1:1 Yoga/Life coach, Ayurvedic postpartum doula and Somatic Trauma coach.

Mikka’s main teachers/mentors: Jane Austin (pre/postnatal yoga guru), Harvey Deutch (Yoga Therapuetics), Leslie Howard (Pelvic Floor yoga) and Jenna Furnari (Bodywork and postpartum doula) br>

Mikka is devoted to welcoming your body, heart and soul into this massive transitional period so that you feel held, capable and STRONG. She believes in strength in softness and trusting the deeper wisdom we all have to make the best choices for ourselves and our babies. She radically advocates for self love and connection being the most important ingredients for thriving during one of the most difficult transitions for your life. Mikka radically advocates for education around the first year of postpartum as our society doesn’t talk about such things! Consequently many birth humans feel alone, in pain and massively overwhelmed in their first months postpartum. Mikka is here to say, “Hell no!” It does NOT have to be that way.
