This workshop is designed for individuals interested in the work of doulas and what the training program at Natural Resources entails.
Join homebirth midwife Michelle Welborn and lactation consultant Tracy Massillon for a thorough conversation including the following:
-Overview of Doula work
-What is required to become a successful Doula practicing with integrity
-What the Natural Resources Doula Training Program offers compared to other trainings
-Q&A session following the presentationCome be in community with our experienced educators and other prospective Doulas and further your journey to becoming a successful, knowledgeable, and empowered Doula serving families in birth and beyond.

Michelle Welborn is a Certified Professional Midwife, Licensed Midwife, Childbirth Educator and Doula. She has attended over 600 births in homes, hospitals and birth centers. Michelle trained with The National Midwifery Institute, DONA, Lamaze International, Natural Resources, and The Farm Midwifery Clinic, but she considers birthing women and their partners to be her greatest teachers. Tracy Massillon is a mother of two, Educator, IBCLC, and Registered Nurse. She began working with birthing and new families as a Birth & Postpartum Doula in 2003. She joined the Natural Resources family of educators in 2005 and created the curriculum for our Childbirth Preparation, Breastfeeding, and Newborn Care & Parenting classes. In 2009, she became an IBCLC (Board Certified Lactation Consultant). She has facilitated our weekly Breastfeeding Mothers Circle for over 10 years and enjoys supporting mothers as they learn to nourish and nurture their babies.
Tracy is passionate about families receiving Doula support and trains new Birth and Postpartum Doulas with the goal that everyone will have access to compassionate and evidence-based support.
