Care Instructions:
1. Choose a natural detergent: Use a mild organic detergent without colorings or perfumes. This is both to protect the babys health and skin, to protect the environment, and to spare the fabric to secure a long-lasting and soft feeling.
2. Lower temperatures: Wash at low temperatures to protect the textiles and the environment. Most detergents are specialized for cold-water washing, so you do not have to worry about stains or bacteria.
3. Wash similar colours together: Wash with similar colours to avoid colour contamination between colours.
4. Air-drying: Air-dry your textiles on a drying rack or hang clothes outside. Not using a dryer will not only preserve the textiles fibers and color, but it will also save you money on your utility bill. Air drying is better for your wallet, your wardrobe, and your planet.
5. Do not use fabric softeners: Avoid fabric softeners, as they reduce the natural absorbency by coating the fibers in chemicals. If you wish for soft textiles, you can add a cup of white vinegar to the washer during the rinse cycle. The vinegar naturally balances the pH of soap, leaving your textiles soft and free of chemical residue.
6. Cut, never pull: If you experience a loose thread always cut it rather than pulling it. If you pull the thread, you do not know how long it will be pulled and how much damage it is doing to the larger structure.
