This class is all about learning to strengthen and move your body safely. I want you to feel empowered to move your body in ways that feels strong and soft while we navigate the wild chapter of early parenthood
Also… COMMUNITY! Come connect with others, be seen and held as you are and practice having your babe in public while in the safety of Natural Resources nest. If you’re baby cries, that’s okay! If you need to feed you baby (or yourself) that will be celebrated.
I have taught this class for almost ten years and it’s such a beautiful opportunity to connect with yourself and others in a non judgemental space
Please Note:
- Second caregiver welcome but not necessary
- This class is made for parents caring for babies. If you have a crawler+ please know that you are responsible for their safety and that the class is designed for adult bodies not children.
- Facilitators are professionals who may have their own private practice. They may use their discretion to determine whether an additional fee is needed when their expertise is solicited outside of class.

Mikka is devoted to welcoming your body, heart and soul into this massive transitional period so that you feel held, capable and STRONG. She believes in strength in softness and trusting the deeper wisdom we all have to make the best choices for ourselves and our babies. She radically advocates for self love and connection being the most important ingredients for thriving during one of the most difficult transitions for your life. Mikka radically advocates for education around the first year of postpartum as our society doesn’t talk about such things! Consequently many birth humans feel alone, in pain and massively overwhelmed in their first months postpartum. Mikka is here to say, “Hell no!” It does NOT have to be that way.
